*CUE THEME SONG*
NEW YORKER. EXPLORER. SHOE LOVER. DIGITAL STRATEGIST.
IN THAT ORDER.
My trajectory was a serendipitous one. While starting my passion in performing, the creative bug stuck, and I managed to connect it to social causes. I was afforded opportunities to explore all aspects of public service, and I found myself attracted to communications strategy and messaging. But more so, I try to connect joy to everything I do – and the biggest goal is always spend my time laughing, helping to improve the world, and eating a slice of pizza (or eight).
THE FUN STUFF
Learn more about me beyond the 9 to 5
I definitely have given my passport a full purpose in its life. I make it a priority to explore somewhere new as often as I can. So if I'm not in Washington D.C., you can easily bet i'm eating my way through a new place. From London to Lisbon, I've been to over 20 international cities (and counting!)
While nature is always breathtaking, I feel like urban architecture is vastly overlooked! From hallways, to row houses, and museums, there's so much beauty tucked away into most concrete jungles. So I search for these little pieces of gorgeousness in every place I visit.
My favorite place to be is a library or book store - that hopefully sells coffee. Reading allows me to learn and travel when I can't manage to get on a plane. I have read countless books and aspire to eventually have a library filled of the paper adventures I've taken.
FASHION AND STYLE
In the words of the infamous Carrie Bradshaw, 'I want my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet.' I find fashion to be a way of creative expression, and I always on the search of pieces that make me feel most like myself. Thrift stores have become a second home, and the gems you find are usually priceless.
