Things I’ve been eyeing, trying, or buying: Summer Shoes

Over the years, I’ve managed to become an expert on finding great picks from even the wildest of sources (I bat a 92% on my Amazon orders.) So I decided to share monthly on every payday - the 15th - all the things I’ve been eyeing, trying, or buying so you don’t have to sort through the BS. So let’s get started!

Shoes make an outfit. You can @ me on that, but I will not concede. I believe that you can take any look and make it chic with a shoe.

A classic plain white tee and jeans? A staple. Throw on a strappy sandal – She’s elevated. A little black dress? A must have in everyone’s closet. Plus a red shoe? She is out and about. I think my point has been made.

A mindset to live by is Chanel rule - have your classic capsule wardrobe that’s timeless and fits like a glove, and have a vast shoe collection as your statement. So without further adieu…

So this month for shoes and here’s the things I’ve been eyeing…

  1. These red strappy sandals that are *chef’s kiss*. A little bit sexy, chunky heel for stability, and a fire engine red to announce that you are HERE.

2. These illusion heels because we love a look that says barely there.

3. These flats, because I’m finally realizing a closet with just sneakers and heels is actually unsustainable.

Trying…

4. A pair of classic black flats because I finally cracked and they give me casual Audrey Hepburn vibes.

Buying…

5. These sandals because LOOK at them! (Also more on these later…)

6. The everyday work cousins to the ones above

The answer is always to buy the shoes and you better strut like you mean it.
